Intensive ABA Therapy

Our goal for your child: To provide the very best ABA and related therapies in a safe and nurturing environment so that your child can enter kindergarten at his/her full potential.

Alee Behavioral Healthcare’s Intensive ABA Therapy is based on years of research which conclude:
“The effectiveness of ABA-based intervention in ASDs has been well documented through 5 decades of research by using single-subject methodology and in controlled studies of comprehensive early intensive behavioral intervention programs in university and community settings. Children who receive early intensive behavioral treatment have been shown to make substantial, sustained gains in IQ, language, academic performance, and adaptive behavior as well as some measures of social behavior, and their outcomes have been significantly better than those of children in control groups.”

Intensive ABA therapy for 2-6 year olds

Our intensive ABA therapy is run by Master’s level clinicians with years of experience providing ABA and related therapies. Our staff ratio of approximately 1.5 clinicians for each child enables us to meet the individual needs of every child we work with. ABA therapy is provided in alignment with the common core which will maximize academic readiness for kindergarten. Social skills are another important target. Social situations and interactions are embedded into the program throughout the day. A speech language pathologist (SLP) is part of the therapy team and works with every child, both directly and with the direct care staff that is with the child throughout therapy. An occupational therapist is also available for both direct therapy and as an advisor to our therapists. In preparation for being in a classroom environment in kindergarten, we transition the children into a collaborative setting where they are working alongside peers, simulating a classroom. In anticipation of your child’s transition into kindergarten, we will work closely with the school district to ensure that they have all the information needed for a seamless transition.
